To delete a file, click once on the file, and press Command Delete.
Then empty the Trash.
To delete an application, you can just delete the application like a file, but it will leave behind junk in the System and Library. You should use a Cleaner application that will delete all the files. CleanMyMac will let you do that. There are many cleaner apps to choose from. You can also do it yourself by searching for the pref files if you know how to do that.

Simply go to your applications folder, right click (or two finger click) on the application you want to delete and click on move contents to bin.

you probably should get the MacBook. they are cheaper than the MacBook Pro. now, if you want a bigger screen, then get a MacBook Pro.

If you already have a laptop get an Ipad 2 but if you dont i would say get a Macbook Pro just becuase you can do more work unless you wont to buy all the programs for the ipad2
