I'm assuming you are referring to the HVAC fan. Somewhere in the spaghetti mess of wiring going to the fan motor, there is a network of resisters. These are often mounted inside the airduct somewhere near the fan motor, not sure about Nissan though. Where-ever it is located, chances are the problem is there, or perhaps in the wiring leading to these resistors, or perhaps there is a fuse blown somewhere in the loop. It is also possible that the switch itself could be bad and need replacing.
