Do you know those little sand paper things you get some of those a you remove the paint that way. That is the way I seen my uncle do it and it then you'll most likely have a grey base or a different color but that is the way you remove paint from your car.

∙ 16y agouse steel wool and scrub it while using a hose to wash over while scrubing.
Better try some rubbing or finishing compound if you dont want to lose some paint. 3m makes a great 2500 grit liquid finishing compound that I use and is available wherever auto paint is sold, otherwise some fine grit rubbing compound will do nicely.
