I don't wish to sound rude, but the hell with your boyfriends feelings. It's you who is pregnant, why should you worry if he's popular or not. He sounds like the jerk of the day, if he expects you to say nothing so he can look good. If your boyfriend wants you to have a serious medical and emotional life event or just look like one start calling other people pregnant and date a nicer guy.
