Take off the sticker.
Use Lift-Off or Goo Gone.
It is probably adhesive from the back of the sticker. Nail polish remover should take it off.
Take a sponge, wet it, wring it out, wipe it on your cell phone. This also works on wall paper! :)
To remove a sticker or the residue from a sticker from a suede couch, alcohol can be used. Begin by dabbing the alcohol onto the sticker to dissolve the glue. After a few minutes the adhesive should broken down enough to remove it from the fabric.
Self adhesive labels can be removed from furniture by placing first a heated wet towel to the adhesive area for half a minute. After that the sticker can be taken off. If there is still left some white residue on the furniture, this can be cleaned with a cloth and some peanut butter.

When I first got mine, I was rather puzzled. First you have to peel off the sticker protecting the screen. Don't be fooled, it's a sticker, not the real screen. Then you turn it on by pressing the long button in the top of the iPod. Follow the prompts.
Most adhesive-backed stickers use a thermoset-type glue which can be simply warmed with a hair dryer for easier removal. (DON'T press it with an iron! This can make it more permenent!) Good luck!
You can get adhesive off a table by wiping the table with Orange Glo.
