- It Depends On What Kind Of Jewelry You Have In it. Try attempting to unscrew it with either your fingers or some tweezers, but if you can't do it all the way, then after a few attempts you should be able to just yank the ball out. But, it's near impossible to get the ball connected to the ring again. That's only because usually they use a tension ball ring so that it won't come out so easily when it rubs on your clothing. You may have to go to the tattoo shop to get it out without hurting yourself.
- I personally just had this problem and used 2 pieces of clear packaging tape over the balls on each end. (Sometimes our fingers can't get the right grip to properly hold on to the balls.) The tape will stick to the surface better and allow you to easily twist one side of the ball off. It should be a simple and quick procedure.
