Push the bead side ways and it will pop off the ring, it's called a captive bead ring, the bead is held by the tension of the ring nothing more.
no to get the ball off, you turn the ball to your right. the phrase Righty tighty lefty losey applies only it's the left of the piercer in which case would be your right. if the ball is stubborn and still won't come off go to a the piercer that put the piercing in place or another body art studio and explain to them you can't get the ball off and they should loosen it for you.

Most lip rings are in the shape of a hoop and have a ball as a closure. Simply take the ball off and gently work the space in the hoop to the hole. (if the ring is too small you may have to bend the hoop a bit to make it larger)

Just take the ball/bead out of it and put the ring on your lip. If the diameter of the ring is too long, it may not look realistic but just give it a shot. You can't do much else with it.
