Or, u can do it the easy way and get a plastic pry bar, push back the panel to expose the C clip and remove it with some needle nose pliers. If all else fails, go buy a crank tool for like $8. I am a mobile electronics installer (and owner of a 96 Aspire), and I don't know anyone who would go through all that to remove a window crank. From my experience, now don't quote me but you need to push the beauty panel back a little, trust me if you are worried about breaking the panel they take a lot more then you think, but once you have done that there should be a funny looking C clip around the handle. All you got to do is pull off the clip and the handle should slip right off. The trick to getting that clip off is to cheat by making a simple tool. take a coat hanger and cut a straight piece out of it. take one end and loop it in a full circle, this end is extended for your finger so you got something to hold on to. take the other end and make a 135 degree bend as sharp as you can. the smaller the easier the job, once the bend has been made cut it about a 1/8 of an inch long, all you have to worry about if you got it right is if the sharp to grab the clip. If you make that tool and have at it it shouldn't take you more then 10 minutes to get it off, I don't care who you are.
