You just gotta keep telling yourself that you can do it. If you're in the hallway, just go up next to him and say "Hey, i like your shirt." or if he plays a sport, "Hey, you're really good at ______!" and smile. =D If you're really shy take a girlfriend along with you. Just pretend you're passing by him or in the same place as him and go up to him (with your girlfriend, smile and introduce yourself. Say something like, "It seems we are always at the same places. Who do you know here? My name is ______and this is my friend __________. Hope to see you again soon." Keep it simple, slow and easy. He's either going to be flattered you bothered or he may play hard to get, or, he may not be interested at all, but that's the risks all of us have to take. If he seems friendly the first time around then smile at him when you see him and he may stop and talk to you.
