Basically all you have to do is tell your stylist to give you lots of layers.
Make sure they're shorter on top and a long length on the bottom.
If you have a good picture to show, make sure to bring it. Other wise, the person might make you look like you have a mullet when in fact you just want scenie hair.
In a nut shell:
- Lots of layers (razored)
- Make the sides come to the front at an angle so you can gel/hairspray them forward
- Long length
- Maybe a bit of color on the whole top. Like, blonde or black depending what color you want your under long layers to be
If you really want a good style to it with a lot of texture, make sure to use Rave hairspray. It's in the blue-ish grey aerosol can.
DO NOT GET THE SPRAY KIND
Aerosol works best.
If you want the poof you sorta need a teasing comb and LOTS of hairspray.
- Take it in sections starting with the top layers.
- Grab some hair in an even amount and spray the roots with hairspray
- Let that dry for a second or three
- Take your comb and start teasing (back combing) your hair. (from the middle to the root)

Do that all around the head and you need to make it even.
