I just recently bought one of these and it's really quite simple. All you do is take you the usb from the adapter and connect it to the back of the console by the ethernet port. Then you hook it onto the little slots right above the port(if you want to). Then you go to connections, Xbox Live connection, and it has a few options to find a network and you should be able to connect.
