Another option is to use a FrogLog (www.froglog.us) which is a ramp for all kinds of small animals. It works as advertised. The FrogLog is not hidden inside the skimmer so mammals that need to get out quickly before drowning can see the escape route. Frogs and other animals with porous skin need to get out of chlorinated or salt water quickly too. The FrogLog allows for a quick escape. Multiple FroLogs can be used in larger pools. The two devices can also be used together.
