Straightening will not successfully kill the nits for this reason: If 2 or more nits are still alive, they will come out of their egg, suck your blood, reproduce again, so you shouldn't straighten anymore. Tell her parents because the only way you can kill lice is getting the medicine/treatment from pharmacies.
