SIMPLE...... you run for one hour every single day incorporate fartlek which is picking up the pace every so often and then drop to normal running speed. it ain't easy but more than managable (if you like football the best way to do it is on a pitch with a football kicking it around, turning and doing sprints down the pitch)...... now the diet....... get up and get yourself a good bowl of cereal i.e shredded wheat, weetabix, quaker oats, bran flakes. if your a little peckish in between breakfast have a packet of crisps not heavily fatty ones eat quavers, monster munch, walkers baked crisps. for dinner get a pasta meal not cheese based tomato based with chuncks of tuna or chicken with sweetcorn and other bits of veg, (don't go mad on the intake of pasta as too much you will struggle to burn, but pasta is a good fuelling device for the training that you will do. for tea i normally will go for some chicken with a tomato sauce base with a bit of basmati rice.....impossible ? no..... dedication? yes
