You must remove the inner door skin to expose the outer door and the locking/opener mechanism. The lock cylinder usually is held in place with a thin metal "C" shaped clip that holds the cylinder tight from the inside of the door. Then reconnect the door mech. to the arm attached to the cylinder- spray everything with WD 40 and make sure it all works without binding or hanging up. Then you can reinstall door skin- that should do it. This goes for any kind of car door. Howard
