This is a picture of my 99 Chevy Blazer with the hose attached to a can of 134a(freon).
Start your truck and turn the AC on as cold as it can go. Attach hose to your low pressure point on the accumulator and if your hose is not pre-attached then screw on can so that it opens and flows. Make sure not to over charge it will damage the compressor. You should feel the compressor get cold which is a great sign. Also you may want to have some one in the truck to let you know if the air is now cold. Hope this works for you.
Connect your Freon bottle to the low pressure port on your 1998 Chevy S 10 Blazer air conditioning compressor. Discharge the Freon into the compressor. A recharge kit will make this process quite simple.

Recharging the air conditioning is simple with a recharge kit. Connects the Freon bottle to the recharge port on the air conditioner compressor. Release the Freon into the compressor.
It is probably low on freon.
The 1990 Buick LeSabre air conditioner recharge valve can be found on top of the air conditioning compressor. The air conditioner recharge valve will have a blue top.
Portable air conditioner will not blow cold air. What to do?
can some tell me where the port is the 1993 lexus so I can recharge air conditioner
Buy a kit at Wal-Mart or auto parts comes with instructions
There are two ports to recharge the air conditioner in a 1998 VW Jetta. Follow the Air Conditioner lines to the firewall, the lower one is on the passenger side near the strut tower.
You will need a Freon recharge kit. Connect the hoses of the recharge kit to the ports on top of the air conditioner compressor. Release the Freon into the compressor.
Your recharge your air conditioner with the type of refrigerant which it was designed for.
