Jack up the front of the Vitara and remove the wheel. Unbolt the caliper and swing it out of the way, hang it with a piece of wire or coat hanger to keep pressure from the brake lines. If the rotor is the slide on type, just wiggle it to pull off. If it has the axle bearing race built in, then take off the axle nut, and slide the rotor off of the axle shaft.
The Squeal means its time to replace the Brake pads.

its the park brake symbol, and it would also come on if your brake fluid was low also

The license plate light bulb in a 2003 Suzuki Grand Vitara can be accessed and changed through the rear cargo area. A portion of the rear door panel will have to be removed. There is a small rectangle that can be popped out by using a screwdriver that is in the middle bottom of the door.

where can i look at a diagram of rear brakes 2002 grand vitara need 3 plates or parts. looked in manuel no. parts are destroyed bad dont know what called to order please help red
You can find the flasher unit relay switch beneath the drivers side dashboard. The flasher unit relay switch will be above the brake pedal.
Just open your rear door and you will see screws on each side close to the brake lights . just take those out and the light will slide out and then just twist the plug to open and replace the bulb
The fuse box for 2004 Suzuki Vitara is located on drivers side just above and to the left of the brake peddle. You have to get on your back on the floor to see it. It houses the fuses for cigarette lighter, radio, tail lights and dash lights as well as others. They are labeled. Second fuse box is in engine compartment on passenger side...no idea what they control.
it takes 27 litres of oil, also make sure that you use half synthetic and half brake fluid. happy wrenching :)
you remove the brake caliper and the caliper bridge use two 8mm by 125pitch bolts and screw them into the holes until rotor comes free It also works on a 2000 Thanks!
