I did this on a 96 last summer - can't remember if I found the directions online or in a Haynes Manual, but it wasn't too hard. You have to remove the console and that entails taking the off the shift knob (automatics beware - the spring will go flying). The are several sensors/lights that you have to pry out of the dash and disconnect. There are a bunch of screws - some are behind the radio, a couple are on the top of the curve in the instrument cluster, and other hidden places. Keep track of you screws - I think I ended up with a few extras. Good luck.

how to change dimmer switch on 1997 Honda accord
If there is current going through the wire to the blower switch, try bypassing the switch with a jumper wire. If the blower motor works, then replace the switch. If the blower motor does not come on, then you probably need to replace the blower motor.
replace the switch.
Could be, a blown fuse, a bad blower motor, a burned out blower motor speed resistor, a bad blower motor switch,
It is located behind the glovebox. Remove the glovebox, and it will be back and to the left. All you do is remove the wiring and unscrew two screws and drop the new one in.
I have the same problem. what I do is tap on the heater blower (located below the glove compartment in the corner)which will magically make the fan work or remove the two gold Philip screws that hold the cover and spin the fan manually.
The 1998 Honda Accord main relay switch will cost approximately $125 to replace. You can save $75 by replacing the switch yourself.
Just completed this job. You'll need to remove the HVAC control head, not too hard a job...just remove dash trim, pull control head by releasing side tabs, remove electrical connections at the rear. Once out of the dash, there is a black switch that sits behind the blower speed control. there's plastic piece that must be removed before you can remove the switch. replace and reinstall. You should be able to find the replacement part on Amazon for $15 or so. Good luck.
The brake pedal switch is bad. How do I replace it?
Easy.... Step 1: Remove oil filter (switch is above the filter) Step 2: Disconnect wire from the switch Step 3: Using a socket, remove old switch Step 4: Install new switch and connect wire, then re-install or replace oil filter All done!
