Drain all of the coolant from the car Remove the stock airbox Unbolt the stock intake manifold from the head and unplug all sensors Remove the stock intake manifold from the engine bay Unbolt the stock exhaust manifold from the head Under the car, unbolt any brackets that hold the stock exhaust mani to the car Under the car, unbolt the stock exhaust mani from the exhaust Disconnect all sensor connections from the sensors on the head Remove the valve cover Remove the timing belt Remove the cam retainers and cams Unbolt the head from the block Get the head and block mating surfaces cleaned Have a shop make sure the block and head mating surfaces are 100% flat (this may require getting them milled a bit) Replace the head gasket per instructions - you may need to use some sort of sealant Put everything back together reverse of the above and re-time the engine Sound like a big job? It is - $800 or so to have a shop do it. If the above doesn't sound like something you're comfortable with I suggest you pay someone. It'll end up saving you time in the long run.
