the easiest way..
1- install your scanner
2- double click the scanner icon in my computer
3- double click Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard
4- next
5- preview
6- choose -- color - or - grayscale (on the left)
7- next
8- type the name of the picture - select the format (JPG for low resolution - BMP for higher - PNG for the highest) then choose directory to save the pic.
9- next
10- finish

∙ 13y agoIt varies by model, but this is the easiest way:
1) Put the paper to be scanned in the paper tray
2) In any program that allows printing (internet Explorer, Firefox, Word, etc), click "Print"
3) The printer will detect that you have an original in the paper tray, and the driver will prompt you for a location to save the scanned image.
