You could go to gmail (online) and sign up from there, or go to Google search and search google talk, and go to the link to download google talk then sign up from there. Either way doesn't make a difference
Note: If you already have a gmail account, you automatically have a google talk account.

∙ 12y agoGoogle chat is extremely easy to join. As long as you have a email address, you can go into your email on the website and then click on the chat link. This will bring you to a variety of choices for chat rooms.
