If you want your parents to trust you ever again, you have to tell the truth. The problem here is, haven't your parents met this guy in the whole time that you have been dating? They might already suspect that he is older. The difference in age does not matter when you are in your mid to late twenties and on up but when you are a young teenager, the differences are immense. Your likes and dislikes are so different. However, be honest and sit down and tell them. Get them to be open minded first and not judgmental and perhaps they won't be angry at all.

∙ 14y agoGet your parents to sit down with you. Say that I need to talk to you, its very important. Say that you have been seeing this guy that you really like, and see how they react to that first. If they react good, then move on. Say, he is older than me. Is it ok to still go out with him? If they say no, then either dump the guy, let him down gently, or keep going out with him behind their backs.
