Pull out the lock on the blower motor resistor wire harness connector to unlock the connector latch .
Depress the latch on the blower motor resistor wire harness connector and disconnect the connector from the resistor.
Remove the two screws that secure the blower motor resistor block to the HVAC housing.
Remove the resistor block from the HVAC housing............

To test the blower motor resistor, unplug the resistor connector. Each blower motor switch input terminal on the resistor must have continuity to the resistor output terminal, which is connected to the circuit going to the blower motor. If the blower motor resistor continuity does not check OK, replace the faulty resistor. You need a multimeter to test the resistor block and there should be continuity between all terminals.
Either your switch is messed up, or more likely the blower motor resistor is bad.
Locate the resistor under the hood near the blower motor on passenger side firewall. Unplug the electrical connector. Remove the screws holding the resistor in place. Remove the resistor. Install in reverse order.
A malfunctioning blower motor resistor will cause the blower motor not to work. When the resistor is bad the blower motors will not turn on.
The resistor is bolted into the evaporator case near the blower motor. It is accessed under the passenger side dashboard. The trim/carpet along the transmission needs to be removed. You can then unplug the connector and remove/replace the resistor.
The blower motor speed resistor is probably burned out. The resistor is available from your local auto parts store.
Go to Wholesalemopar.com and search for your wrangler, keyword "resistor". Two parts will come up, I believe they are the same, but one has a link to a schematic for blower assembly. Good Luck.
The a/c heater blower motor resister is located in the vehicle on the passengers side inside the housing next to the blower motor...............Remove the blower motor resistor wire harness connector.Remove the blower motor resistor screws.Remove the blower motor resistor.
First locate the resistor, it is under the hood, on the firewall, passenger side, close to the blower motor. Unplug the wire connection and remove the three small screws holding it in place, then remove the resistor.
Replace the blower motor resistor.
