Well, abuse effects the community in 5 ways.
#1: It makes the victim more angry.
#2: The abuser begins to feel more powerful.
#3: The victim's world is turned upside down because he or she begins to think that everybody in the world is abusive. That's the psychology behind it.
#4: Some victims start thinking it's normal to stay in an abusive relationship and they don't look for ways to escape.
#5: The people who live in the same community the abuser lives in has to watch out for him or her and they have to notify others about the abuser.
