When you say button, the start button is called the power button and it turns power on/off. There is no start icon as you see on a windows computer. On Mac the equivalent is the Finder icon.
There is no Start button per se. Finder is the equilivant of Start on a Windows PC.
Mac OS X does not have a direct equivalent of the Start button in Windows. In part the Apple menu (in the top left corner), the Dock and Finder window sidebars provide similar functionality.

RS is the (right stick) on your controller or if your play first person games a lot like Call of Duty then it's the "look around" button but you push down on it not look down but "push" down on it and it's the button below the pause button or the start button

It's pretty simple once you know how. Click on the start button, then click on My computer, when it opens look to the left under System Tasks, then click on View System Information. After it opens click on Computer Name. Look for Workgroup: WORKGROUP If, it says (workgroup) the computer is a single owned computer and not in a network of other computers. If, it has another name or letters like: USPS then it's in a group or network and a member of a domain.
It may be in the "classic" colour scheme. Change this by either right-clicking on the task bar and selecting a different view.
It should be around the top left corner of your computer. It will look like two green arrows making somewhat a circle.
