All other things being equal, you will not notice a difference except for the larger file sizes for the same size of picture taken. If you aren't using the camera professionally, I suggest you concentrate more on features. These days, people seem more interested in big numbers (for pixel size) because it's the easiest thing to discuss around the water cooler. IMHO, anything over 6 MP is a waste unless you're getting a bargain.
i have an 8.1 and it taks really good pictures but they say the higher the mega pixles the better the picture...
Hey! this is pickley kit kat and i just wanted to say that i got this awesome camera for xmas this year. it is more of a video camera but takes really good pics 2 and it is 10 mega pixles....i did have an all pic camera before and it was only 3 pixles and i have to say it sucked....
It is a great camera. that means it has 10.2 million pixels which to me is great. I have a 10.2 megapixel camera and it looks like HD.
you may be surprised that the DSi Camera lens has a mere 0.3 megapixels!!
i dont think so... i guess it depends on the camera you want to get. an average computer screen is over 800 pixels tall. if all you are talking about in your camera is the display, then maybe. how good the display is says nothing about how good the camera is. but if that is all you are getting out of the picture, then absolutely not. a pixel is like, the size of a pin-point.
No, but if you download the app night camera, it takes good light images, even in the dark.
Not really, for a webcam it might be OK. 0.8 Mpx translates to about 320 * 250 pixels.
2 megapixels 3 Megapixels actually you Noob
no this is not a good camera, 0.3 megapixels is really low && you want the highest amount you can get. 8.0 megapixels is about average. you want to get your megapixels from there && up
The rear camera is 13 megapixels. The front camera is 2 megapixels.
The standard flip camera has definition of 3.2 megapixels. A high end flip camera can have up to 8 megapixels.

3 Megapixels.
2.1 megapixels
The front camera for the iPhone 5 is 1.2 megapixels. The camera on the rear is 8 megapixels.

Now with iPhones having 5 megapixel cameras built inside, the average megapixels in a camera phone have gone up. But not everyone has an iPhone, so the average amount of megapixels is around 3 or 4.
2.0 megapixels exactly
For high quality pictures look for a camera with at least 8 megapixels.
The megapixels on the iPhone 3GS is around 3 megapixels, which in modern standards is outdated. My particular cellular device has an 8 megapixel camera.
