Why Pakistan is called an ideological state?

Asalam, A good question and a simple reply, Pakistan is simply not an Islamic state, the things that happen here are not subject to any shariah court or anything, not even Qazis, in fact bribery and coercion are a high tide tradition in the government . About the people, nope no Islam even there, Pakistan has over about 20 music channels while 2 or 3 channels propagating Islam, and we all know Music is haram. Furthermore, the social traditions here in Pakistan have overlapped the values of religion, Islam says that all women must cover their heads and observe 'satar' , whereas none of this happens in Pakistan , to add even something more, in Pakistan , almost in every big city ; you can see that there are a lot of palmists, which is totally WRONG and deserves strict punishment as it is considered a form of Shirk! Hence, it is clear , though Pakistan may 'call' itself an Islamic State, it does not act as if, i myself am a Pakistani, but i put my religion first and then my country as my identity as a whole. Nevertheless, the only cause of this deviation from religion can be attributed to westernization among the youth of Pakistan. The general idea among the youth is that if you do things you see on t.v , your'e simply 'cool' and believe me, this is the main bug in the society, we should have an identity of our own and let others follow us instead of following them.

Pakistan is the only Muslim country created on the name of Islam. Muhammad Ali Jinnah hoisted the flag for the Muslims of Pakistan on Aug 14, 1947. In 1956 constitution, Pakistan is adopted as Islamic state.
