From what I understand calico cats are all female. There are no male calico cats.

thats not completely true ..male calico cats are born very rarely about 1-3000 calico cat births..they are always sterile so they are not worth any money..

Actually, a few male calico/tortoiseshell cats arefertile. They are more likely the result of mosaicism rather than an XXY chromosomal anomaly, which causes infertility. Whatever the cause, though, they still aren't particularly valuable, because neither a chromosomal anomaly or a developmental anomaly like mosaicism is a genetic trait that can be passed on to their offspring.

About an average of 15 years, just like all other cats. Please note that Calico is just a term to describe the cat's coat colour. It is not its own breed. Calico cats are mostly Domestic Shorthairs - moggy cats that have mixed genes and bloodline.

It depends on the cat itself like if it has any illnesses, but from what I know, calico cats do tend to live longer then most cats. For example, my aunt's calico cat lived to 23 years, and my calico cat lived to 20 years. That is much longer then most cat breeds.

Due to these mixed genes, Domestic Shorthairs have been said to be able to live a little longer than pedigree breeds, but there is no evidence for that.
