Is this for Home or Auto? I can only speak to Home units. I service units in retail stores. These subs are used everyday for 12 hours. The units are all good makes (avg $600 ea). On average they begin to fail in about two years. So about 700 days @ 12 hours a day.
***now if you are talkin about auto, i can answer that. 10s in a car can vary in their lifetime. Typical use also varies. You may play your music loud or low during a typical day. Everything adds up. Usually they blow or tear the voicecoil, but at an average lifetime, i would have to say, probably 1-2 years, depending on how loud you like your music.
It is possible to purchase Alpine subwoofers in a shop that sells speakers for cars. They can vary in prices so it will be wise to compare different stores before you're final purchase.
What I have done before is i attached wires from my door speaker and connected my sub. It sounded pretty good.
yes you need to my boyfriend loves subs and stuff like that and he always works his in for 3 or 4 days depending on what size the subwoofers are in the first place

no Atypical is of course the opposite of typical. It is a word to describe when things are not normal. It is normal or typical for you or us to get up in the morning to brush our teeth and then eat. While it is atypical to do it the other way around. So an example of a sentence using atypical would be: It is atypical of her to eat before brushing her teeth. Because it is otherwise normal/typical for her to brush teeth before eating and now she is being atypical by breaking the pattern, what usually is normal for her.
