There are nine amino acids that are considered essential. They are called essential amino acids because the human body cannot produce them on its own, so they must be obtained through dietary sources. The reason they are considered essential is that they play vital roles in various physiological processes and are necessary for the proper functioning of our bodies.

These essential amino acids are the building blocks of proteins and are involved in protein synthesis, which is essential for the growth, repair, and maintenance of tissues. Each essential amino acid has its own specific functions and benefits:

Histidine: Supports the growth and repair of tissues, and is important for the production of red and white blood cells.

Isoleucine: Required for muscle metabolism, immune function, and energy regulation.

Leucine: Plays a key role in muscle protein synthesis, energy production, and regulation of blood sugar levels.

Lysine: Essential for collagen synthesis, tissue repair, and the production of enzymes, hormones, and antibodies.

Methionine: Involved in metabolism, detoxification, and the formation of important molecules such as glutathione.

Phenylalanine: Acts as a precursor for the production of neurotransmitters, including dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine.

Threonine: Required for the synthesis of proteins and important molecules like antibodies and collagen.

Tryptophan: Precursor for the production of serotonin, a neurotransmitter involved in mood regulation and sleep.

Valine: Essential for muscle metabolism, tissue repair, and the maintenance of nitrogen balance in the body.

Since our bodies cannot synthesize these essential amino acids, it is important to obtain them through a balanced diet that includes protein-rich foods such as meat, fish, eggs, dairy products, legumes, and certain grains. A deficiency in any of these essential amino acids can lead to various health issues, highlighting their crucial role in maintaining overall health and well-being.

- Isoleucine

- Leucine

- Lysine

- Methionine

- Phenylaline

- Threonine

- Thrytophan

- Valine

- Histidine

dispensible amino acids can be synthesised in the body. there are 11;

- Alanine

- Arganine

- Aspargine

- Aspartic Acid
