Well the number of dogs allowed in a residence all depends on where you are. The only places that i know regulates the amount of pets kept in your home is when you live on a military instalation or renting out someone's home or apartment. And most of them allow 2 pets. (one dog, one cat/2 dogs/etc...) depending on the size. But there isn't a restriction on the number of dogs you can have in a personal residence.
