It depends from where you are flying from in the UK (there is more competition from Heathrow than Manchester for example). In addition it also depends where in the USA you are flying to. Again, there is more competition into the New York area than Kotzebue Alaska. Another factor would be the time of year. It is more expensive to fly around Christmas, New Year and summer than February. Finally it depends in one cabin you want to fly - First, Economy, Economy Plus, Business etc.
