Im 17, 5' 9" about, and weigh 121.
Most people my age are a bit taller and heavier but not as strong!
Anyway ive heard you should bench your weight.
I max out at 130.
Ive been working out for months and months.....every other day......consistently.
You need to commit. When I was benching 115 max I took a week off and i can back benching 105. So you NEED to keep at it as it takes months not weeks.
So i would say your goal should be about 115 to 125 depending on your weight.
And if any of those dipshits at school who think they are cool saying they bench 170, but are as thin as you, just ignore them......they will get beat up in college.
This shouldn't be a bragging sport.
good luck and just keep at it consistently and your muscles and strength WILL grow.
My son is 5'11" and weighs 210 pounds, he's 17 years old, been lifting 5 days a week for a year. He squats 600 lbs, benches 350 lbs and dead lifts 450 lbs.
A 17 year old should not be lifting weights with out the supervision of a professional trainer. The professional is the only one who can determine how much should be lifted.
she should do 40 - 50 squats
I can lift 45 to 55 pounds I work out a lot.I think a 11 year old boy should be able to lift 25 to about 30 or 35
There is no set amount that a person should be able to lift based on their body weight.
they should be able to lift about 75 tons on there toung, and lift about half of America on there little finger
I think they should eat a whole lot of eggs and a balanced diet
The average 18 year old female in good shape should be able to lift at least 30 pounds with no effort. To bench press, it should be anywhere between 20 to 50 pounds.
if you do lift weights,be sure not to lift to heavy weights........im 11 and i lift weights ,and do push ups,and chin ups.
Yes, if they want to they can.
There is no limit to how much weight a 40 year old male can lift. Male who are in shape can life more than those who are unfit.
This would depend on the 16 year old and is personal body and strength. Dont lift more then you can comfortably lift and make sure that you have a spotter available.
50
My son can lift and carry 25lbs... though he's really big for a four year old.
i am 15 at the moment and have been training since i was 12. i can now lift about 70kg but an average should be lifting about 25kg
