depends on how many miles you walk ie the pace...on an average you burn around 100-130 calories every 15 minutes of normal walk.so when you burn over 3500 calories you lose one pound for the week.hope that helps.

If you eat fewer calories than you use, you will lose weight. Walking for 2 hours will increase the number of calories you use, but you still need to eat fewer calories than your total usage for the day. If you don't understand how calories work, you'll never understand how to lose weight.
