Brain cells are the only, if not one of the few, cells that are supposed to stay in your body for your entire life so they do not get replaced.
Actually, research over the last few years has shown that the human brain can grow new brain cells. Particularly the ones used in cognitive memory and learning capability.
No. The amount you are born with is the highest amount you have for the rest of your life. It is the only cell in the body that does not regenerate. See the related link for more information. This answer is now out of date - new research shows that at least in the hippocampus of the brain, there is the potential for new cell growth. See http://www.brainlightning.com/regen.html for further details of the research.
an old debate and myths is that they do not regenerate. But an alchoholic drinking everyday killing the brain cells would run out in some 20 years or so if the cells did not regenerate.
actually I believe scientist allready admited as to that braincells do regenerate.
Edit: At least some parts of the brain (i.e. the hippocampus and at least three parts of the cerebral cortex) have been shown to regenerate brain cells [1, 2], which would seem to be good news for the control of emotions, memory, decision making, visual recognition, and 3D representation. I'm not an expert in this area, so there's probably a lot more relevant information I didn't find.

yes
Brain cells!
Brain cells, mainly neurons, are what make you and make how you work. Without brain cells you could not exist.
yes technology kills brain cells:)
Schwann cells
The cells that make up your brain usually do not go through mitosis when mature.
no. but your brain can reorginize itself.
Brain cells cannot be regrown nor do they regenearate. So its important to keep the ones that you have. The brain consists of neurons and glial cells.
No. Your brain can create new synapses, but the cells don't regrow. When a sick brain is viewed on a MIR the areas with dead cells show as holes in the brain, but a healthy brain is shown as a healthy blue and whole.
No-- Nerve cells are one of the few kinds of cells that never regenerate or regrow.
They aren't. Neurons are brain matter, and those cells don't regrow.
in my pants
Yes and no. The neurons, what we would call brain cells, do not regrow but the supporting glial cells can regrow. Recovery of functions after a traumatic brain injury generally are the result of forming new pathways within the brain around the damaged area.
No. The nucleus is often compared to the brain, but it is not really a brain made of brain tissue.
schwann cells
Stem cells can be used to regrow a variety of different tissues and organs without a person with nerve damage. In a person with nerve damage, they can help to regrow nerves.
it makes you do stupid things that you regret later and kills brain cells that can often take years to repair it makes you do stupid things that you regret later and kills brain cells that can often take years to repair
