restart Firefox.
now Greasemonkey is installed.
then load the script 'DontshowTranslate.user.js' inside
2- go on this page:

click on the green install button
save these two little gems somewhere on your disk for future use.
now Google Translate is gone.
if you want Google Translate back
disable the script in Greasemonkey.
