There are plugs under the front seats for the air bag wiring. unplug then replug the wires and the light should go out. It worked on my 2002.
The heater on the 03 Mazda Tribute is going in and out. What is the problem and how can it be fix?
you dont
I had this problem a year ago, after I moved the passenger seat back fully. After a few days of the airbag light staying on, I thought to check the wiring under the seat, gave it a wiggle on the connector, and no more problems! The model is a Mazda 3 2.0L sport '54' reg.
fix the airbag.
i have the same problem did you get the answer to fix it
Clean contacts group under the passenger seat
The airbag light is on because the airbag module detects a problem with the system. Fix the problem and the light will go out by itself.
I have a '93 with a blinking airbag light. I have been told by a couple of repair places that the only way to fix it is to take apart the entire dash on the car which would be very very expensive. Mine has been blinking for three years.
smack it with a hammer
You would have to take it to a Ford dealership so they could diagnose why the airbag light is on. It is not something that you would want to do yourself.
If you mean they are on and flashing and your can't cut them off with the switch, the switch is bad.
You can't "clear" it unless you fix the problem that is causing the light to be on in the first place. That's the way all airbag systems work.
