I have a '93 with a blinking airbag light. I have been told by a couple of repair places that the only way to fix it is to take apart the entire dash on the car which would be very very expensive. Mine has been blinking for three years.
how do i reset an airbag light on 2004 mazda premacy
Means a dash sensor is mal functioning, dont worry, people with this code difuse the airbag light as it is useless and annoying, unless you are a fan of holiday lighting.
The backup light switch is located on the left side of the transmission. Disconnect the switch connectors, then unscrew the switch.
This airbag issue is part of a recall by Mazda. You should contact your dealer.
Take off the airbag on the steering wheel, there are 2 wires, remove the black one....I think its the black one, well remove one then see if the light is still on
The airbag light on a 2003 Mazda Tribute will stay on if a defect is detected in the system. This can include the sensor or the airbag itself which should be immediately repaired.
The airbag light in a 1995 262 will come on when there is an airbag circuit problem. The airbag will not work right in the event of a crash unless the problem is fixed.
Pretty big job (maybe 8 hours to remove and replace). The steering column ends up dropped down so far that the steering wheel is sitting on the driver's seat. The center stack must be removed (where the radio and climate controls are). The Mazda service manual is super helpful. I wouldn't want to do it without it. Airbag light on?
You have a defective airbag. You replace that bag.
If you fill your tire to right PSI the light will reset itself.
Yes.
