Well, the iPod Nano is the only iPod with a video camera, and no iPod can take still pictures. Since no iPod can take still pictures, it can only take a picture of its screen. You really don't have a problem, its that the iPod can only take still pictures of your screen and not you.
When you push the shutter, all pixels of the camera become active and begin absorbing light while the shutter is open. This allows for high quality and non-grainy pictures. The live preview shown on cameras is only a very low quality preview for a small screen so you know what you are pointing the camera at.
Yes, both the 2nd generation and 3rd generation iPads have cameras. Both have a VGA front facing camera for FaceTime video conferencing. The iPad 2 has a 1 MP rear camera, and the iPad 3 ('new iPad') has a 4 MP rear camera.
No i have one if you want a camrea u need the iphone
You cant anymore the only way you can have any involvement with a camera is past pictures put on the wall!
well it might not be one of the new ones that do.
only if it has a camera
On an iPod touch, only the newest model has a camera. If you're using an iPod 4th generation, just open your camera app to take real-world pictures. Using any other iPod touch, the only thing you can take is a screen shot. To do that, you simultaneously hold down the power and home buttons for a second or two, then let go (screen shots work on all iPod touch models, if I remember correctly)
You can't buy a camera for your ipod touch you only only buy a ipod with a camera installed and i think that you only get camera's on the new ipods.
regular ipod touch has a camera and can take pictures as well as video. Ipod classic do not have cameras. They are only good for music and simple apps like calendar etc.
Only the 4th Generation iPod touch has a camera
You can upload pictures onto an iPod Touch (see How do you download photos from a PC to iPod touch?), but the only iPod that has an actual camera is the iPod nano 5th Generation, which shoots video.P.S. The words in bold are not a link. That is a question I'd answered earlier. You have to search for it yourself.
Only the 4th generation ipod has a camera
No, the only way to have iPod have the function of a camera is to buy the 4th generation.
no it is only a camera.
The only thing you can take pictures of, is what is on your screen. To do this, hold the home button down until the screen flashes white, and then check your photos. The photo you just took, should be in there.
No, but you can take videos. The current iPod Nano allows you to sync photos to the iPod via iTunes, but you cannot take actual pictures. The iPhone and iPhone 3G can take videos, and the 3GS can take videos. Why apple didn't let the Nano take photos is still unclear. Apple did not make the iPod Nano take pictures because the Nano's camera is VGA quality so pictures would look horrible.
yes...the 4th generation 8GB iPod touch has a camera
