Well that depends.Check the ground cable that goes to the fender then down to the subframe then to the block itself. Now If u remove the cable and clean the area with sand paper a wire brush etc and reinstall. If no change I would check your alternator for output.Use a multimeter and see if it is at least 12-12.5 volts with the key in the off position running it should be 13.5-14.0 volts.Or if do not have a meter take it to advance auto or autozone for a FREE charging system check. If this is a original alter, it could be not charging the battery which would explain the slow crank due to a undercharged battery. That is unless the starter is (failing new remanfactured part) this does happen or the battery is charging.I would not rule out the battery cables being a problem I have replaced mine in 09 due to age, wear and it does make a difference and other issues.

Your starter keeps shorting out no wires are touching and kills the battery when trying to start What could be the reason for the starter shorting or grounding out?

If you have just replaced this starter then you probably have it hooked up incorrectly. If it is still the same old starter, then it has shorted out inside and needs to be replaced.

Why is the starter not grounding out?

3 reasons either the starter is not getting power from the solenoid, solenoid is not getting power from the battery or starter is burned up.

You had the battery and starter replaced now your headlights do not work what could be the problem?

Interesting?? I had my starter and battery replaced on my 2002 Saturn VUE and within a few months my low beams ands daytime running lights went out. Dealer says the post in the fuse block is burnt and the entire block needs to be replaced at a cost of over $600.

Why wouldn't your engine turn over because you hear clicking most of the time and you replaced the solenoid starter and had the battery tested?

mabey a bad relay. or cables grounding out on somthing. make sure you got full power to the starter and the start at the switch and work your way down. good luck Check for corroded battery cables

What does it mean when your won't start or turn over?

I means you have a battery problem or a starter problem or dirty/loose battery cable connections. If the battery is operating the starter and the starter is turning the engine over but the engine won't start and run, you may have a spark problem or a fuel problem.

When you turn the key on your 1999 Dodge Durango you get nothing Have replaced the starter Battery and wires good What could be the problem?

Sounds like the ignition switch.

What are the causes that prevent a 1999 ML320 from starting?

1. Dead battery 2. CPS is bad and needs to be replaced 3. Bad starter motor Hard to tell unless you can give more details, does it make a sound when you try and turn it over? A classic dead battery sound on Mercedes is a click noise when you try and start it, sometimes it confuses people and they think the starter motor is bad but that's not the case. I had a similar problem and it turned out that the grounding strap on the starter motor just disintegrated.

Can you start a truck with starter problem or do you have to tow it?

That depends upon what the starter problem is. If the battery is exhausted, you can use another vehicle's battery, with jumper cables.

Why would your car not start if you just replaced the battery and alternator?

Check the battery cables or starter.
