its because of the claim as the legal hier of Abraham. Abraham had 2 sons: Ismail and Isaac. Ismail was elder one from Abraham's maid servant and Isaac was from Sara, Abraham's wife Now, Arabs (Muslims) are descendants of Ismail whereas Jews and Christians are descendants of Isaac. And this simple thing causes all the brothers to fight against each other.
