Shorter days and nights, so another day would need to be added, giving us 8 days instead of 7. This is supposing our orbit round the Sun remains the same. Let's hope it never happens.

How would a faster rotating of earth effect the tides?

the gravitational pull would have less of an effect because it's moving at a faster speed. And since the gravitational pull is what causes the earth's tides, then they would most likely be less effected.

How is rotation connected to the length of a day?

How is water length and frequency of a wave related?

I don't know what's "water length" but I do know that the deeper the water are, the faster the wave goes. If you meant wave length and not water length, then the longer the wavelength, the smaller the frequency of the wave.
