Really genius? I work for a carrier and that's not true. If you're car is a 1997 why should we pay for new parts when your car was a POS before the accident? Read your policy.... we owe LKQ- Like, Kind and Quality, per YOUR WRITTEN CONTRACT. Same with claimants, you are subject to the policy unless you have NEW CAR ENDORSEMENT OR A LEASED VEHICLE WITH NEW CAR REPLACEMENT STIPULATIONS IN THAT CONTRACT.
Absolutely. In fact the law specifically states that new parts have to be used.
