If the serpentine fan belt on a 1993 5th Avenue broke how do you put on a new one?

What I did was loosen off the motor mount on the left side, take a 2x4 wooden b lock place it on a floor jack and put under the oil pan and rase the engin enough so you can get you wrench on to the tention pully and change your belt.
