It should be perfectly okay depending on what has to be done to that particular tooth. Ask your dentist for a referral to an orthodontist (some orthos accept patients without referrals) and he/she should be able to answer all your questions during your consultation appointment.
Yes, teeth move with braces even if they have undergone root canal therapy.

February. Kate did not schedule filming for that day because she wasnt sure how Mady would react to getting the braces put on, and she didnt want Mady to be embarassed! They did not film Mady getting braces because they did not know how she would react, and did not want her to be embarassed.
Yes, legally all general dentists are qualified to do root canals. But, IMO not as qualified as an endodontist who has gone through 2-3 years of additional training in the specialty and does ONLY root canals all day rather than once/week. I would only let an endodontist do my root canal and similarly (but more serious) I would only let a heart surgeon do my bypass surgery. == == All Dentists are qualified to do root canals.
I went to the orthodontist today. On the first day I went they did molds and x-rays. At the second visit they will tell you what they need to do to your teeth, such as, orthopedic care or getting braces. Then on your third visit they will give you braces, however this is only if you need braces.
Usually - yes. Today, dentists have advanced instruments and equipment that makes it possible to complete a root canal in one appointment. Not all dentists have these instruments in their office, and some choose to perform a root canal the way they were taught in dental school many years ago. These procedures can take two or more appointments. You should also be aware that a tooth that has a root canal usually requires a restoration called a crown. This is because a tooth with a root canal will tend to get brittle and will likely fracture in the future. The crown will prevent this from happening. A crown usually requires at least two appointments, unless the dentist uses a Cerec crown mill in his office and the crown ins fabricated while you wait.Yes. A root canal can usually be performed in one appointement, unless there is an infection, or other complications that require more visits.
No that is not normal. I had a root canal done and it did not hurt at all. Call your dentist and see what he can do for you. Good luck and God Bless:)
Not at the very moment your dentist is attaching the braces to your teeth... it becomes uncomfortable afterward about a day after when your lips are getting used to your braces. You would usually get mouth blisters and cuts. Your dentist should give you some pain relief pill to help you with this.
You can play whenever you want to, just wear a mouthguard and be careful with your mouth. I am a goalie, and I went back to playing soccer the day after I put on my braces.
Spacers are the rubber bands that your orthodonist might put in between your teeth before about 2-3 weeks before you get braces. They are usually baby blue. It's kind of like getting braces. They hurt the first day or two, but the pain eventually fades away. Before getting braces, your orthodonist will remove your spacers with a scissor/tweezer like device before adding your braces. Hope that I helped(:
I was told by my Destist (endodontist) if the tooth that the root canal was done on was built up properly there should be no problem flying, my endodontist knew I was flying on a plane the next day I heard her say "were going to go ahead and put on a permanent filling" but she told be to get a crown done within 2-3 weeks.
they will feel sore after getting them put on a wee while after it, but not enough that you should stay off school :) just need to watch what you eat so you dont break them.
Probably two sittings of around half an hour each is required before braces can be put. First cleaning of the teeth (Oral Prophylaxix) is done whereas in the second visit molar bands are put. Then after braces are put. There is no hard and fast rule for this; its just up to the patient and the orthodontist. It can be put the same day or even more sittings.
It hurts right when you get them on for like a day and a half then it goes away. when you get them tightened it starts to hurts, but hurts more on the 2nd day then the 1st. when you get them off it doesn't really hurt
