It is not. They both have features that are good: A computer can complete mathmatics and calculations way faster than the brain A computer can not think or act on instinct By using a combination of both of these forces we can make the world better.

∙ 13y agoThe brain is like a computer because like a computer, our body/brain communicates and carries out functions through the use of electrical currents. Information travels from every part of our body to the brain and from the brain to the body. Our nerves that run through the entire body could be compared to bunched up electrical wires sending and receiving information. The brain simply receives information, processes it, and then carries out the proper function just like computer.
However, the computer has nothing to do with Intelligence. A computer can also not think for itself and do something without command. One of the best sayings I've ever heard regarding a computer is:
'A Computer Is Not Intelligent.. Just Logical'
