No. Schilling is still pitching for the Boston Red Sox and doing it quite well. During spring training, he was campaigning for a contract extension, not the U.S. Senate, so it looks like his political ambitions are on hold. Schilling is a Republican living in Massachusetts, a heavily Democratic state, but his bloody sock World Series heroics would probably compensate for his party affiliation (at least in the eyes of Red Sox Nation, which is larger than either of the political parties).
