Legal Free Downloads It depends on what you want to download. If you want to download movies, games, or music, legal free downloads are not possible due to copyright laws. The…y are intellectual property. Whoever holds the copyright to a particular movie, game, or song is the owner, much like people are owners of televisions, MP3 players, and other tangible property. If you download a copy of something that is copyrighted, it is considered stealing, much like if you walked out of a store with a game, CD, or DVD without paying for it. Therefore, it is not possible to download free copies legally, so there are no good site to do so. It is much the same for software, ring tones, and other things that can be downloaded, but there are exceptions. If software is freeware or open source, permission is usually given to download a copy for personal use for free. It's a good idea to read the terms before downloading, though, to know what they are and exactly what you are allowed to do legally with any software or anything that is downloadable. Some reliable sites for downloading software that is legally free are: Download.com, Tucows, the site of the maker of the maker of the software, and others. Freeware that can be legally downloaded free is clearly marked on those sites.

You download music for free-- That is not legal at all. So no, it is NOT a legal site to download from.
One is www.letmewatchthis.com
Spotify is a great piece of software and has the ability of downloading.
If by free sites you mean somewhere like Hulu showing "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly" for a limited time only, then you probably won't run into much trouble if you manage to… download it from the site. I did this but with YouTubeDownloader when YouTube had their Good Bad Ugly showings for about a month. However, other movie streaming sites shouldn't be considered "legal", because the person hosting the streaming movie inevitably obtained it illegally from somewhere, against the original creator's wishes. Just be careful what you run into out there, especially with torrents.
You can try Jamendo. While the type of music is hit or miss, it's all free and licenced under creative commons.

In Online Music
You have to own its album otherwise its illegal
It is allowed IF and ONLY IF the artists permit it. If a website is allowing downloads for music without the permission of the artist then it is not only considered theft and …violation of intelectual property but, in some cases, equatable to a criminal offence. And no matter where you live, even if your country does not adheer to the same laws, it IS INTERNATIONAL COPYRIGHT VIOLATION. This applies everywhere and whoever you are, whever you are, you are subject to this law. Don't steal music. Period.
Bearshare, Itunes and Limewire.
Yes, it is. The store is located in Ukraine, where IOMOIO has a contract with a AVTOR company. I believe, it is one of the companies like RIAA, which gathers authors from the …Ukraine and has rights to distribute music in the Ukraine. It also means, that music sold by them is legal here. Sorry for my English, but it is not my native language.
