yes it is
To expand upon the answer above, most casual gamers would agree that it is.
Halo 3 includes more features such as more grenades, more control, the introduction of equipment, ect. To make the difficulty more interactive, skulls are added. But just on legendary, there are more ways to beat a level, and there are a more variety of enemies. Halo: Combat Evolved, due to limitations of the engine and time constrains at that time, contains very linear game play when it comes to legendary, which is not favored by most casual gamers due to the repetition. Example:
In Truth and Reconciliation on Legendary, when you are rescuing Keyes. When you are near the bridge or when you are inside the hanger (bottom to 2nd levels), there are quite a lot of Elites. It is very hard to kill them, especially when there are 3 or 5 at a time. Your weapons are limited to needlers, plasma rifles and pistols, whatever weapons you carried at the start of the mission, and whatever weapons dead marines dropped. This limits your game play, and the strategy of most gamers must be greatly improvised. For example, you must unleash a full magazine of needles to kill one elite, and then reload or switch to a automatic weapon like the plasma rifle, assult rifle, ect. This strategy must be repeated over and over, or if you want to use a different strategy, you have to try and improvise it after 10 tries before you finally get it. So Generally, the casual gamer would agree that halo 3 on legendary w/out any skulls is more difficult due to the nonlinear and not as nearly limited legendary gameplay
Yes I believe Halo 1 is harder than Halo 3 on easy. In Halo 1 you take significantly more damage in Halo 1 from each shot.
i own it and halo reach is way shorter (but harder) then halo 3.
if it is the halo e.c It will say halo live update. halo update has a picture of legendary. like the one where you choose the difficulty on halo. two swords and a skull
It depends on what you call beat. To Complete Halo you should complete All 9 Campaign missions, Some people also may want to try it on harder difficulty levels.
Play halo 4 no one gives a $hit about halo 2
Cureently, no lengendary ending have been released. They release the ending once Halo 4 comes out.If there is no lengenday ending, contact me.-Ocelot
