Yes, it is normal to be angry that your own wife would accuse you and not trust you or your word. No she is not right does she have proof that you stole the monies and if so where is it. I would seriously think about getting her some therapy, your in need of some too. Get a back bone and let her know how her accusation makes you feel.... Unfair and inaccurate accusations are abusive if your comments are not validated. You may want to check in with her brother, if you have a good relationship with him, and try to get to the bottom of the rumor. However, if you have a highly aroused sense of anger at the situation, and he is likely to escalate the situation, then it would be best to do this over the phone. Or not. In the long run, this is a wake up call for the state of your marriage, and as the comment above goes, therapy or a communication class would be wise.
